Ayurvedic Copper Tongue Scraper
A gentle morning ritual for fresh breath and digestive clarity.
Inspired by Ayurvedic tradition, this scraper is made from 100% pure copper—a naturally antimicrobial metal celebrated for removing ama (toxic residue), freshening breath, and supporting digestion. It’s thoughtfully crafted so you can start your day feeling grounded, light, and balanced. I use it every morning—and it’s become part of our peaceful start ritual.
Why we love it:
• Removes bacteria and buildup that cause bad breath
• Helps draw out overnight residue (“ama”) for a cleaner tongue surface
• Activates digestion by stimulating taste buds and agni
• Crafted from pure copper with a soft muslin pouch for travel
• Durable, refillable, and plastic‑free
When & how to use:
Use it first thing in the morning, before eating or drinking. Gently extend your tongue, hold the scraper by both ends, and place it near the back of your tongue. Glide forward, rinsing the tool between passes, until the coating lifts off (usually 3–5 times). Finish by rinsing your mouth and following with oil pulling or brushing—just to feel extra clear and fresh. If you're new to the practice, start gently to get used to it.
Care & storage:
Rinse after each use and dry thoroughly—copper can tarnish if left damp. If oxidation occurs, clean with a lemon-and-salt scrub, or soak briefly in a vinegar-and-salt solution. Rinse and dry again and you're good to go. Store in a dry spot or the included muslin pouch.
